Prefects Profiles
My name is Brodie and I am a Community Portfolio Prefect at Riverside High School for 2025. Leadership means to me is someone who takes initiative, supports others and is a role model. I believe a leader does not need to have their own group or team, it’s about leading by example and demonstrating strong values, such as courage or resilience, and being someone who inspires others to strive for greatness.
Outside of school I spend my time cooking and am interested in video games. I enjoy the strategy and game sense needed to win. Working with others and building a sense of community is a focus area for my leadership.
This perspective is important for my role as a Community Prefect if I am to achieve my goal of fostering and creating a sense of community and outside of school.
I am Beatrix and I am a Community Prefect. I believe in the power of service and that small acts of kindness and involvement can lead to real change, both in our school and the wider community.
Outside of school, I enjoy, spending time outdoors and playing soccer. I love working on creative projects and helping organise activities that bring people together. These interests fuel my passion for supporting the community and encouraging others to take part in different opportunities as they arise.
Throughout my time at school, I have learnt that leadership is less about being in charge and more about lifting others up. I try to be someone who listens first, acts with heart and always looks for ways to include those around me.
If I can help even one person feel more connected or proud of the difference they can make, then I know I will have fulfilled my role. My aim is to lead with kindness, stay positive and always help others.
I am Emerson, a Community Prefect this year. I love my role because it combines my strengths in community and public speaking. I am excited to help with upcoming activities and events, embracing the fun, interesting and challenging experiences ahead.
My hobbies are working at my part time job, hanging out with my friends, hiking, surfing and gaming. My goal this year is to connect the senior and junior grades to foster lasting positive experiences.
I am confident that together, as a team, we will leave a lasting, positive legacy at Riverside High School.
