Grip Leadership Conference – Friday 14 March
Last week, the Prefect Board had the exciting opportunity to attend the GRIP Leadership Conference; a day packed with inspiration, creativity, and heaps of fun. We got to choose from a range of engaging elective sessions, including "Creating School Events That Everyone Can Connect To "Creative Ideas for Your School That Aren’t Events", Being a Leader Who Supports Others," and "Tackling Something That Feels Impossible." Each session challenged us to think outside the box and gave us fresh ideas to bring back to our school.
But it wasn’t all just serious leadership talk we also played interactive games that encouraged us to meet, collaborate, and maybe even get a little competitive with student leaders from all over Tasmania. The atmosphere was electric, the lessons were invaluable, and most importantly, we left feeling more inspired than ever. Through the experience, we also grew closer as a team, feeling more connected and confident in our ability to support each other as leaders. The Prefect Board is buzzing with ideas, and we can’t wait to put our new skills into action to make this year the most inclusive, exciting, and memorable one yet!
